Grenadine is an all girl punk band based in Wakefield RI. Originally formed in 2023 for a school talent show, the band quickly moved away from high school stages, even winning 2024 RIC Radio Rock Hunt. Consisting of five members, Melody Krueger on lead vocals, Avery Beatley on guitar and vocals, Abby Licht playing guitar, Sabrina Blaney on bass, and Lu Culpepper playing drums, this band of 16 year olds covers rock, alternative, punk, and is reminiscent of the riot grrrl movement of the 90s.

Influenced by bands such as Bikini Kill, Brat Mobile, and Le Tigre, Grenadine has recently transitioned from covers to originals, performing their first at their one year anniversary.

In addition to their victory at Rock Hunt, Grenadine has played at a variety of local stages including Oktoberfest, the Ocean Mist, Open Mics, and the Pump House.
